記念艦三笠

 

記念艦「三笠」は、1902年（明治35年）英国で建造された戦艦です。1905年（明治38年）5月の日本海海戦において東郷司令長官が乗艦指揮する護艦として露国海軍バルチック艦隊を撃滅し、日本の独立と平和を守った歴史遺構です。

The memorial ship “Mikasa” is a battleship built in the United Kingdom in 1902. It is a historical relic that protected the independence and peace of Japan by destroying the Russian navy Baltic Fleet as a protective ship under the command of Commander Togo at Battle of Tsushima in May 1905.
